Pheox has released a new JCE provider product named JCAPI. This product provides access to key- and certificate stores on Microsoft operating systems through Java. It supports X.509 certificate management and RSA encryption/decryption through Microsoft's CAPI (CryptoAPI). Hardware tokens are supported through both CAPI and PKCS#11. JCAPI is a lightweight mediator library that delegates all crypto related operations to Microsoft's CAPI layer through JNI.
